Hikari Grande - Archi - Pendant
This Hikari light is version 2.0 of the first Grande pendant, that Fenhann made in 2005 for his solo exhibition in Design Museum Denmark.
The pendant was created for the Basel fair in 2013.
Process
The pendant is made out of more than 60 thin pieces of wood, carefully joined together with mitred joints. All joints are hand planed with Japanese tools. The holes are covered with Japanese Shoji paper.
