Hikari - AERO

These pendants were Rasmus Fenhann's first prototypes of the series of Hikari lighting. The pendants were designed for a solo exhibition at Design Museum Denmark in 2005.
Six pendants were arranged in the museum like a miniature solar system. On the walls were four wall lights.

Process

This first edition of Hikari lights were made entirely with Japanese hand tools. All the shapes were hand cut with a saw and all the pieces were puzzled together using japanese hand planers.
